There are a number of interests that unite Lost Moon Radio, but quite high on the list is a shared love of documentaries, sitting in front of bookcases pretending to be experts, and Ken Burns.

Clearly, we’re not alone in our feelings, as evidenced by the enthusiasm for this project from such diverse internet sources as Indiewire and Slate.

But there’s one endorsement that we will probably cherish above all others.

So last week’s premiere of the relaunched Wild ‘N Out, featuring Lost Moon Radio’s Lauren Flans, was the highest-rated program in the history of MTV2. THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN. (And by “people" we especially mean the key 12-34 demographic with a notable showing among both female and male teens.)

The season’s second episode airs tonight at 11/10c. By Lauren’s account, it was one of her favorites to film all season, and contains what is sure to be the most talked-about television kiss since at least Season 2 of Moonlighting. If you miss it tonight, you can catch it starting tomorrow through the magic of the internet.
