The Lost Moon Rebel Video Contest

But hey, maybe you’re like, “This all sounds great, but can I see the show for free?” Okay, you’ve convinced us. Post a video of yourself doing something rebellious (10 seconds to 1 minute) on the Lost Moon Radio Facebook page with the hashtag #lostmoonrebels, and we’ll give you a FREE TICKET to our May 30th Rebels and Outlaws show. Whether you shoot it on an iPhone or an Arri Alexa, all videos are welcome. This rebellion display can be something small (like drinking white wine with steak) or significant (overthrowing a government). It can be funny or it can be brave. We leave it in your hands.

AND if your video gets the most likes by Thursday the 28th at midnight, Lost Moon will pay your bar tab for the evening (up to $50). So, share your video with your friends and we’ll see you at The Virgil on May 30th!

This is it, guys. The shocking Season Finale of DAN’S CAT VIDEOS. A new foe emerges, and DeNiro faces his greatest challenge yet – it’s the cliffhanger you’ll be talking about all summer! #danscats

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new series DAN’S CAT VIDEOS! The first two are live now. We’re releasing more every Wednesday for the next two months. Enjoy! #danscats

On Monday, March 9th, at 8pm, Lost Moon Radio will perform a short set in one of Los Angeles’s most unique and inventive variety show events, campfireball. Built very loosely around a theme, in this case “the lonely rovers of Mars,” campfireball is a fully immersive, community experience where the audience has no idea what’s around the corner.

Past campfireballs have included musicians, comedians, storytellers, short films, online dating, ponies, the world’s largest deliverable pizza, haircuts, campfire flavored ice cream, school bus field trips and more. We don’t know anybody who’s seen it who didn’t find the whole thing magical. (Yes, we said magical. Don’t be a dick about it.) And the whole show is free.

LMR NYC Tour

Lost Moon Radio: Journeys

Lost Moon Radio makes its first NYC appearance with an evening of its award-winning sketches and songs exploring the theme of “Journeys.” Three shows, three chances to see this “hilarious hour of sketch, music and a over arching story that plays throughout” (LAist). The Huffington Post calls Lost Moon Radio “rock and roll comedy that exceeds expectations … silly while avoiding stupid, edgy without being obnoxious and fresh without feeling forced. The ensemble is a seamless display of talents in absolute cohesion.”

This Saturday night, we’re doing an opening set for the sketch comedy duo CHARLES at the Electric Lodge in Venice.  In keeping with the two-person vibe, we’re presenting a very stripped-down version of Lost Moon that is just Frank and Dylan, which should be weird and awesome.

Charles has arrived quite recently in LA after making a name for themselves in Seattle, and their freewheeling existential comedy space opera MOBY ALPHA was a highlight of this year’s Hollywood Fringe.

The show is at 8pm, and tickets are $15 at the door, $12 in advance.  Hope to see you there!
