Men and rape.  My funny thoughts about a serious subject.

More coverage of Episode 13, which wrapped its run at Fais Do Do this weekend, from Examiner.com.

Saturday night we wrapped our run at Fais Do Do, but we got some nice press.  Check out this write-up from Los Angeles Magazine.

It’s the final night of our two-weekend run at Fais Do Do, and we’re going out with a bang.  At 8:30pm, check out our all-new installment of original sketch comedy and rock n’ roll (Lost Moon Radio, Episode 13: Science & Technology) immediately followed by the triumphant return of the Lincoln Bedroom playing a kickass afterparty set.

It’s Saturday night. Treat yourself to some jokes, reasonably priced drinks, and feel-good rock. Whatever else you were gonna do can wait till Sunday.

Tonight’s Lost Moon Radio performance is more than just a comedy show.  It’s a whole evening’s entertainment.  Watch our all-new “Science & Technology” episode, then grab a drink or two at the Fais Do Do bar and stick around for the musical stylings of singer-songwriter Mike Schadel, a.k.a. Mr. Mike.  Check out his music here.

Thomas Dolby, not a real scientist

David Bowie, not a real scientist

Sting, not a real scientist

Gene Simmons, not a real scientist

Debbie Gibson, not a real scientist

Jonathan Coulton, not a real scientist (though he is a former computer programmer)

Alice Cooper, not a real scientist

Dylan Ris, not a real scientist

Musicians pretending to be scientists: it’s a noble tradition, and this weekend Lost Moon Radio is pleased to be a part of it.

Question: What’s the most romantic spot in Los Angeles?  Answer: Tonight, it’s the all-new Lost Moon Radio “Science & Technology” show at Fais Do Do. There will be comedy. There will be music. There will be a bar. Special guest DJ Nightpants is spinning ultra-sensual sets both before and after the show. Bring a date and impress him/her with your sophisticated appreciation of all the Darwin references. Or come alone and mingle with the hipster singles who share your taste for dry comedy and messy rock performed by people in labcoats. Yes, the theme is Science & Technology, but tonight … the emphasis is on chemistry.

We mean sexual chemistry. I don’t know if that was clear.

Lost Moon Radio: Episode 13: Science & Technology is rated PG-13 for language, adult situations, brief nudity, some terrifying imagery, physician partying, and mildly suggestive puppetry.
