History

LOST MOON RADIO was founded in January 2009 as a way to explore the members’ shared love of comedy and music. Since its first performance at St. Nick’s Pub, the company has grown in size and ambition, now encompassing fifteen members who perform numerous engagements each year. LOST MOON RADIO has performed at the Super Serious Show, Spaceland, the Los Angeles Public Library and were the hosts of the 2012 and 2013 LA Weekly Theater Awards. Their run at the 2012 Hollywood Fringe Festival earned the “Top of the Fringe” and “Best of Comedy” at the festival. LOST MOON RADIO has continued its growth across various mediums, branching into podcasting and videos, and recording several albums. The company continues to push itself and its members to venture into new territory, harnessing the creative force that comes from taking risks then using a secret and ancient alchemical process to turn that into jokes.
